Losing culture losing organization. Failed rebuild after failed rebuild. Doesn’t matter what coach they hire every 1.6 seasons (yes that’s the average this team turns over it’s coaching staff) this team will never be anything. You have a Vegas team that will make playoffs two years straight with our guy Gallant. Should have never fired him. This team plays zero defense has no goaltending, team is an absolute joke. They never make a big trade and you wonder why you blog about disaster all the time. Horrible ownership it’s just goes on and on. Only reason they get away with it is the fans in Florida are all TB fans no one cares about the Panthers. No media pressure no pressure from idiot vacationing season ticket holders just a recipe for failure all around. Haven’t made back to back playoff appearances since 96/97 haven’t won a playoff series since 1996 yes that’s 23 years. Pathetic all around. I’m done.

It's funny you come to spout off after they play a good game. You think you would've been here with your diatribe after the fiasco in Boston. Does it bother you that much when they win?
Yes, they should never have fired Gallant. Yes, they've been a terrible organization for most of their existence. But what exactly does the past have to do with today? At least come with some ideas of how it could be better, instead of simply popping off with the same old tired bullpoop.

Dwelling on Gallant wont do any good. Sure they made a mistake but its time to move on from that thought. I'm a frustrated fan too but I still have faith in the core of this team. New coach, an upgrade on defense and a veteran goaltender with Monty as a backup will put us back in the playoffs. Keep the faith.

Heard a great stat from Goldie. Monty is only the 4th goalie EVER drafted to win a game. Think hard about that one

Too bad Brown was injured at the start of the year, he's made their D better since being called up. Was nice to see him bury one yesterday. Barkov and Huberdeau are both on a tear, they work so well together.
Monty looks calm cool and collected. Was impressed how he handled giving up two quick goals in his debut against Carolina. I hope they roll with him for now, the team seems to play in front of him like they did when they trusted Lu to be there to bail them out.
I can understand drafting a goalie wasn't a priority when Lu was here the first time, but only the fourth goalie drafted by the team to win a game for them in 25 years, is a peculiar stat. I wonder how many goalies they've drafted over the years that have never worked out. The funny thing is Markstrom is the only other one I can even remember.
